Suzuki India has extended its scooter range by launching the new Burgman Street at a price tag of Rs. 68,000/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new 2018 Suzuki Burgman Street is a premium 125cc scooter which now replaces the Suzuki Access 125 as Suzuki’s new flagship scooter in India.

The Burgman Street 125 is a maxi-scooter that gets its design inspiration from its elder Burgman scooter range that is sold in the global markets.

This new and latest Suzuki’s flagship scooter features a big front apron with a tall windscreen, LED headlight, LED taillight, a multi-function all-digital meter, a shutter key with central seat lock, a large 21.5L under-seat storage, a 12V charging socket in the 2L glove box (optional) and chrome garnish. The fuel tank is of 5.6L (expect a real-world mileage of 35-40 km/l). The Burgman Street 125 will surely have a huge road presence.

The underpinnings of 2018 Suzuki Burgman Street are borrowed from the Suzuki Access 125. It is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 8.5 BHP at 7000 rpm and max. torque of 10.2 Nm at 5000 rpm. It is equipped with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear while CBS (combi-braking system) is offered as standard.

The 2018 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 weighs 108kg and uses fibre in its bodywork and this scooter will go against the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125, the Aprilia SR 125 and the Honda Grazia.
