MV Agusta, the legendary Italian motorcycle company has made its official entry into the Indian market today via a partnership with Pune’s automobile giant, the Kinetic Group.
MV Agusta is majorly known for the world’s most premium high-performance superbikes. The company unveiled its first range of superbikes − the F4, the F3 and the Brutale 1090 and they will be sold through its first 3S ‘Motoroyale’ showroom in Pune. The company will be operated as MV Agusta India Pvt. Ltd.
The company has already sold a few motorcycles and the bookings are open for the same and can be made via www.motoroyale.in. The MV Agusta F3 is brought in India via the SKD route and is assembled at the company’s plant in Ahmednagar while the other F4, F4 RR, Brutale 1090 and Brutale 1090 RR are brought in India via the CBU route from Italy. The company aims at selling 300 bikes this year.
The company also plans to open new Motoroyale dealerships in other major cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore by the end of this year. The Pune dealership will start immediate operations and all of the dealerships will take care of all sales, service and spare parts. MV Agusta India will also sell these motorcycles in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The company is offering 5 superbikes of its range as of now in India and they also plan to offer the limited edition variants in India soon too.
MV Agusta F3:
The MV Agusta F3 is a 3-cylinder, 800 cc motorcycle. In terms of safety, the F3 800 is equipped with ABS, 8-stage traction control and multiple riding modes for better performance.
The MV Agusta F3 is priced at Rs 16.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) and is available in Matt Metallic Senna Black & Pearl Ice White with Matt Avio Grey & Red with Silver color options.
MV Agusta F4:
The MV Agusta F4 is powered by a 998 cc, four-cylinder engine which produces 195 BHP and 111 Nm of torque.
The company is also offering the F4 RR, the top-end version of the F series in India. It has the same 998 cc, four-cylinder engine but it is finely tuned to produce 201 BHP of power and it achieves a top speed of 297.5 km/h.
The MV Agusta F4 is priced at Rs. 26.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) and is available in Red with Silver, Matt Black & White Ice Pearl with Matt Black color options. The MV Agusta F4 RR is priced at Rs. 35.71 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) and is available in White Ice Pearl with Metal Black Carbon & Avio Grey with Black Carbon color options.
The company will also launch the F4 RC, the Racing version of the F4 later this year and will be priced at Rs. 50.01 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).
MV Agusta Brutale 1090:
The Brutale 1090 is a naked sportsbike and is powered by a 1078 cc, four-cylinder engine that produces 144 BHP and 112 Nm of torque. The company is also offering the Brutale 1090 RR, which is more powerful 158 BHP version.
The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 is priced at Rs 20.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) and is available in Matt Black & Matt White colors. The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR is priced at Rs 24.78 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) and is available in Black metallic with Avio Grey Metallic & Graphite Metallic with Pearl Ice White color options.
