Mahindra has launched an updated version of its Bolero Pik-Up truck and has named it as the Big Bolero Pik-Up and has priced it from Rs. 6.15 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune).
The Big Bolero Pik-Up is offered in 2WD and CBC models as of now and the 4WD model will be introduced by the company shortly.
The Big Bolero Pik-Up gets the same front fascia as that of the outgoing Bolero SUV. This truck has the highest payload capacity in its category of 15oo kgs. The truck will be available in 2 payload variants – 1250 kgs and 1500 kgs. It also has the biggest cargo body of 9 feet (2765 mm long).
Along with two payload options, this truck will also be available in two engine options of 63 BHP and 70 BHP. Both these engine will be of 2523 cc displacement and they both will generate 190 Nm of torque @ 1500-1800 rpm. The 63 BHP engine is a BS-3 variant while the 70 BHp engine is the BS-4 variant.
The cabin is now spacious and also has reclining seats and power steering is offered as standard on all variants. With new looks on the outside, it also gets a re-designed interior with new instrument panel and color theme.
The company is offering 3 years unlimited kilometers warranty on engine and driveline in the BS-3 variant as that of which the BS-4 variant is offered with only 1 year unlimited kilometers warranty. Engine immobilizer is offered as a safety feature for BS-4 variants.
The company, under the UDAY program is also offering an accidental insurance benefit of Rs. 10 lakhs at free of cost.
The BS-3 variant is priced at Rs. 6.15 lakhs and the BS-4 variant is at priced at Rs. 6.30 lakhs. Both prices are ex-showroom, Pune.
