Mumbai, 19September 2014: It’s the season to ride and IBW’s ‘Chai &Pakoda’ breakfast run is a great opportunity to do so, and a teaser for things to come in the next few months. At their recent announcement meet,70 EMG and FOX Life, organizers of India Bike Week 2015 declared the Chai &Pakoda rideswould be organized for the rider’s community across the country through the season and that the Mumbai edition, taking place on Sunday 21st September would be the first one for IBW 2015. Similar Chai &Pakoda rides will be conducted in other cities of Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Another highpoint of the night was the announcement of ticket sale for IBW 2015 from October 7th onwards. The organisers are introducing a never before heard offer this year, where patrons have the opportunity to avail a special 5 hour only Early Bird Scheme (Buy 1, get 50% off on the 2nd one). The organisers have decided not to change ticket prices, and they will once again be priced at Rs 3,000/-. The ticket price remains the same, but the festival promises a lot more excitement than what has been offered in the previous years.

Commenting on the earlier response to Chai &Pakoda ride Martin da Costa, CEO of 70 EMG said The primary reason to organize Chai and Pakoda ride is to gather people in a community regardless of what they ride. From seasoned bikers to first-time riders, from people aged 50 to young college goers, everyone come and join in this breakfast run. And the only criterion to join the group is to come on a two-wheeler. Once every one puts on the helmets, no one knows who’s who. Everyone’s equal”

KeertanAdyanthaya, MD Fox International Channels said: “I’ve been on many of these rides before, and truly enjoy the feeling of bonding and brotherhood that it encompasses. These are truly memorable rides and we’re keen that they continue to lead up to IBW each year.”

A participant of previous Chai &Pakoda ride held in Mumbai also commented It was one solid ride. What a sight, from Ducati’s to Pulsars, from RX100 to RE500, over 200 bikers participated. What makes Chai &Pakoda ride special is the enthusiasm regarding the upcoming INDIA BIKE WEEK.Over paratha’s, pakodas and chai, bikers get busy making plans for the upcoming event and how they’ll catch up in Goa and make Mumbai proud”

The Chai &Pakoda runs have been conceived to bring together the biking brotherhood and promote India Bike Week, being held in Goa on 20-21 February 2015. The organizers declared that the Chai &Pakoda ride format this year will be more interesting with Biker Games like Loudest Wheelie, Coolest Looking Biker, Best Looking Bike, Oldest Bike, Safest Biker, Arm Wrestling and more.
