BMW India has launched its all-new BMW 3 Series sedan today in four exclusive design schemes: Prestige, Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport. The newly launched BMW 3 Series is offered only in diesel variants while the petrol variants of BMW 3 Series will be launched in later 2016. The new BMW 3 Series is locally manufactured at BMW’s Plant in Chennai and can be ordered at BMW dealerships across India from today onwards.
2016 BMW 3 Series gets the BMW’s TwinPower Turbo diesel engine which is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and the combination of common rail direct injection and a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry delivers an output of 190 BHP at 4000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1750–2500 rpm. The new BMW 320d accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 230 km/h. The variants: Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport except the Prestige feature paddle shifts for more convenient manual gear shifts.
On the design front, 2016 BMW 3 Series get revised LED headlights and LED fog lights, LED indicators and the BMW kidney grille. The rear light are full LED units arranged in distinctive BMW ‘L’ shape in a curvy design.
All the variants get different interior schemes as for the 320d M Sport version is equipped with the M aerodynamic package, an M leather steering wheel, front sports seats and Driving Experience Control switch with additional Sport+ mode.
EfficientDynamics is present in the new BMW 3 Series with features such as Auto Start-Stop, ECO PRO mode, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Electronic Power Steering, 50:50 Weight Distribution and many other innovative technologies. Using the Driving Experience Control switch, the driver can choose between different driving modes to suit the driving conditions (ECO PRO, Comfort, Sport and Sport+).
The BMW ConnectedDrive includes BMW iDrive (the on-board Driver Information system), BMW Apps, Radio BMW Professional, Park Distance Control (PDC), Connectivity through Bluetooth and USB devices as a standard in the new BMW 3 Series. The BMW Navigation system Professional (integrated Global Positioning System-GPS), with an 8.8 inch high-resolution display is available in 320d Sports Line, 320d Luxury Line and 320d M Sport.

2. BMW 320d Sport Line (Navigation) – Rs. 41.50 lakhs
