UM Motorcycles To Unveil Its Renegade Cruiser Range At Auto Expo 2016

UM Motorcycles –  the Indian arm of the American motorcycle maker, UM International, LLC along with Lohia Auto is all set to start its operations in India and showcase its Renegade cruiser range in India. The company will make its debut in India with the start of Auto Expo on 3rd February, 2016 at the India Expo Mart,  Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The American brand will unveil its Renegade range of cruiser motorcycles: Renegade Sport, Renegade Sport S, Renegade Commando and Renegade Classic.

Renegade Commando

The Renegade Commando is powered by a 279 cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine, which develops 25 BHP at 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The motorcycle comes with wide handlebars and hydraulic telescopic front suspension and spring rear suspension.

Renegade Sports

The Renegade Sport S and Renegade Classic will also share the same engine as that of the Renegade Commando. The Renegade Sport S model was much appreciated when it was showcased at the 2015 EICMA in Milan. The Renegade Commando and its variant Renegade Sport S get an electric start and for their easy cruising, they get a 6-speed synchronized mesh. There’s telescopic suspension on the front while the rear wheel has dual shocks absorbers. The motorcycles also get a fuel tank of 18 litres and weighs 172 kg with 90% fuel filled in fuel tank.
