In this post, we take a close look at the Hyundai Venue N Line. Alongside the design elements and new features, we also did a Performance Test. Here’s our Hyundai Venue N Line First Drive Review:

The Hyundai Venue N Line looks very sporty with Red accents all around. It gets a new bumper and skid plate with two diffuser pieces. An N Line logo is carefully placed on the dark chrome grille. On the side, you will get diamond-cut alloy wheels. Both the front and rear wheels get disc breaks with Red callipers. The new car gets Black roof rails, rear spoilers, OVRMs, and A B C pillars. The rear panel also gets diffuser skid plates and a twin-tip exhaust. The exhaust noise is also quite cool. The distinct style makes the second N Line mode one of the hottest new SUVs on the market.

On the inside, the Hyundai Venue N Line features Black interiors with red ambient lighting. Just like outside, there are Red accents all around. You get leather upholstery with red stitching. The new 3-spoke leather steering wheel comes with a leather gear knob and metal sports pedals. There is also a dark chrome finish on the door handles. The all-black cabin combines luxury and sportiness. The new car also gets paddle shifters, EVRMs, a dual dashcam, smart electric sunroof, air purifier, chilled glove compartment, fully-digital speedo cluster, BlueLink connected car technology, Bose audio system, and ventilated front seats.

Driving Performance

The new Hyundai Venue N Line comes with upgrades in terms of suspension (damping force has been increased by 34%), steering (re-calibrated for faster and better response), braking, and exhaust. This adds up to better handling and steering responses. The 1.0-litre Kappa Turbo GDI petrol engine offers a maximum power of 120 PS at 6,000 RPM and a peak torque of 172 Nm at 1,500-4,000 RPM. It is paired with a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) for quick gearshifts and minimal transmission losses. The agile and peppy engine adds to the sporty feel of the new SUV.

Overall, the Hyundai Venue N Line is a unique offering. It is a good sporty package in a compact SUV form. You can choose from 3 dual-tone colour options – Thunder blue with Phantom black roof, Polar White with Phantom black roof and Shadow Grey with Phantom black roof. The car is also packed with safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Headlamp Escort Function, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, rear parking sensors with camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and more.
