Kawasaki has unveiled the 2024 Eliminator 400 in Japan. Yes, the Japanese cruiser was recently launched in India and has now received an update on its home turf. Here is what the 2024 model has to offer.

While the latest Kawasaki Eliminator model looks the same as before in terms of design and bodywork, the cruiser is offered in three variants – standard, SE, and Plaza edition. Moreover, the Eliminator has received a few new paint schemes to refresh the overall package. The base model is limited to the black colour but the Plaza model comes draped in Pearl Sand Khaki and Pearl Storm Grey. On the other hand, the SE trim has received dual-tone options of Metallic Flat Spark Black with Metallic Matte Dark Green or Phantom Blue with Ebony.

Moreover, the Plaza and SE variants benefit from new features including phone charging ports, and GPS-compatible dual camera setup (front and rear) for added safety. The Kawasaki Eliminator SE also gets a new headlight cowl for enhanced aesthetics.

Powering the 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator is a new 398cc parallel-twin cylinder engine and it makes 48bhp at 10,000rpm and 37Nm at 8,000rpm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch. The engine is nestled in a trellis frame suspended on telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. Its braking duties are handled by a 310mm front and a 240mm rear disc mounted on an 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy. It benefits from ABS for its safety net.

Kawasaki will launch the Eliminator 400 in Japan in March followed by other countries. That said, it is yet to be seen whether the same model makes it to India as well.
