Volvo V90 Cross Country Launched In India At Rs. 60 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, India)


Volvo has launched the new V90 Cross Country in India today at a price tag of Rs. 60 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). The V90 Cross Country is the third model to be added in Volvo’s Cross Country range of cars which already has the V40 Cross Country and the S60 Cross Country.

The V90 Cross Country looks extremely rugged with those new bumpers and black claddings on all its sides. It drives on 20-inch wheels as standard which raises the car’s ground clearance to 210mm from 150mm.  The V90 Cross Country also gets roof rails.

The V90 Cross Country gets a more powerful 235 BHP D5 engine than the S90. It is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and gets an AWD system.

Volvo has heavily equipped it with a lot of safety features. It gets collision mitigation support at the front, park assist function with the cameras (front and rear), emergency brake assist and lane-keeping aid.

The interiors are made in Nappa leather upholstery. The driver and passenger seats are power-adjustable with memory function, there is 4-zone climate control and also a panoramic sunroof. It also gets a boot space 560 liters which can be expanded to 1526 liters with the second-row seats folded down.
