Chevrolet India has partnered with an e-commerce website – Amazon.in for the bookings of Chevrolet TrailBlazer apart from its bookings at various Chevrolet dealerships.
This a first of its kind initiative taken by any company for any ‘premium’ vehicle in the country. The bookings on Amazon.in will open on 21st October 2015, on the day when this SUV will be launched in India.
The TrailBlazer will be brought in India via the CBU route and the company has taken such an initiative by looking at the increase in digital economy in India. This initiative will also provide customers a new premium car buying experience.
To talk about the Chevrolet TrailBlazer SUV, it gets a 2.8L Duramax Turbo diesel engine which produces 200 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque which makes it the most powerful SUV in its segment. This turbo diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which powers only the rear wheels. This premium SUV also gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Smartlink feature, reverse parking camera, auto climate control and 6-way adjustable front seats.
