Well, what else were you expecting? The Dodge Charger Hellcat is the boldest ride of 2014, as voted on by our fans. With thousands of readers taking to the polls, the Charger Hellcat beat out the Corvette Z06, the BMW i8, and the Lamborghini Huracan, raking in 54% of votes.
Among the 10 cars nominated, it was pretty unanimous that the Dodge Charger Hellcat, in terms of performance, price and styling, was hard to match. After all, you’re getting 707 horsepower for only $62,295, and one of the fastest 0-60 times around.
Styling-wise, it’s one bold decision after another. The front end gets significantly sleeker from the previous generation, but the rest of the body retains that muscular form synonymous with the four-door Charger, and they even tacked on some gold wheels for good measure. Not to mention a fully revamped interior.
Perhaps the boldest aspect of the Charger Hellcat, though, is that it even happened in the first place. 707 horsepower in a sedan is borderline crazy. But thankfully, Dodge was willing and crazy enough to take on such a challenge, and the automotive world is better for it. We couldn’t have picked a better car ourselves.
So kudos, Dodge. The Charger Hellcat is the boldest, baddest car of 2014.
