Mahindra is preparing to revise the variant lineup of its highly popular SUV, the XUV700. Soon, the model will introduce an entry-level automatic variant in the MX trim with a petrol engine option. Currently, it offers five variants: MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L, available with both petrol and diesel engines.

Price Expectations: The current MX variant comes solely with a manual gearbox, priced at Rs. 14 lakh (ex-showroom). Anticipate the upcoming MX AT petrol variant to cost between Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 1.80 lakh more than the equivalent manual variant.

Features: The base-spec MX variant will feature an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto connectivity, a seven-inch instrument cluster, all four power windows, powered ORVMs, and driver and co-driver seat armrests.

Powertrain: Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 197bhp and 380Nm of peak torque. Expect similar power output and mileage to the AX petrol automatic variants for this new MX AT petrol variant.
