Gurgaon, February 04, 2015: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) – the ONLY Honda in Indian two-wheeler industry today announced its aggressive business direction for FY’2015-16.

Shedding light on India’s importance and Honda’s game-plan for this crucial market, Mr. Keita Muramatsu, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With India contribution reaching 25% of global Honda motorcycle sales this year; India is and will remain Honda’s priority market globally. However, I consider 50 lac units to be the turning point of Honda in India. In FY’2015-16, Honda is taking the next leap of business expansion. We will be BIGGER with new manufacturing capabilities and aggressively growing network in the hinterlands, BETTER at customer satisfaction and BOLDER with our introduction of ever highest 15 new models in just one year.”

Elaborating on what customers can expect from Honda this year, Mr. Yadvinder S Guleria, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt, Ltd. said, “Honda will surprise Indian customers across scooter and motorcycle segments in 2015. Starting with the launch of new CB Unicorn 160 in January’15, Honda has re-activated the Indian two-wheeler market with 6 new offerings in just 2 months. The new Activa 3G launched today takes the Activa legacy further with new generation styling while new CB Shine boasts of refreshed styling with new features like refined HET engine and CBS (Optional). We are also introducing additional collection of Color & Graphics in Dream Yuga & Dream Neo mass motorcycles. CB Shine gets new styling and design

World’s largest selling Honda’s motorcycle and India’s largest selling 125cc bike – CB Shine makes a truly compelling buying proposition with its new invigorating design keeping in mind the customer needs in 125cc executive segment. The New modern style elements include all new stylish graphics, graceful side panels, New trendy visor, elegant tail light, sharp and edgy tank and trendy allow wheels. The new refined HET engine provides for class leading refinement and economy.  In terms of safety also, the addition of Combi-Breaking System (CBS) ensures higher safety for the rider by reducing breaking distances.

Powered by Honda’s revolutionary Honda Eco Technology (HET), the new CB Shine will be available in 4 colours (Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Maple Brown Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic) starting March 2015.

3 refreshed 2015 edition of models

In motorcycles, additional collection of Dream Yuga 2015 will serve the utilitarian needs of Indian customers with more panache. The new refreshed looks are completed by all new attractive stickers and graphics on the front cowl, side panel and fuel tank. The engine includes a new Honda red colored logo adding more style to the product. The 2015 Dream Yuga will come in 3 colours (Black, Black with Heavy Grey Metallic, Black with Candy Glory Red) with dispatches starting end of February, 2015.

Dream Neo 2015 additional collection too gets a new dose of style. In addition to the new graphics on tank, side cowl and stickers on side panel and the premium red Honda logo, the NEW lockable side cowl will bring more practical utility for daily commuting. Dream Neo will be available in Black with Violet Stripes, Black with Red Stripes towards end of February’15.

In automatic scooter segment, Honda’s original moto-scooter Dio will be offered with new stickers, side panel graphics and a sporty logo adding to the trendy look. It will be available in new dual tone color options which are Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red, Candy Palm Green and Black by end of March’2015.
