Hero MotoCorp has silently updated and launched the 2015 Passion Pro in India. This motorcycle now gets a power tweak and a few cosmetic changes and also gets an addition of a new Brown colour.
Passion series offered by Hero is the most popular series after the Splendor series. Passion Pro was the third best selling motorcycle in the fiscal year 2014-’15. Passion Pro was last updated in early 2014. Now the world’s largest motorcycle seller has updated its website with the new Passion Pro for the year 2015.
The updated model shows a tweak in the motorcycle’s styling, a few cosmetic upgrades, a new addition of Brown colour and an updated engine.
The cosmetic updates which the 2015 Hero Passion Pro gets is new indicators, front mudguard, visor, updated black cladding on its sides, new petrol cap and a new black exhaust cover and a LED tail-light. The handlebar on this bike is carried over from the Passion xPro. The bike also gets new graphics and looks fresher than its previous model.
On the engine side, Hero MotoCorp has updated the 97.2cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine on the 2015 Passion Pro that now produces 8.36 PS of power at 8000 RPM (up from the 7.8 PS earlier) and 8.05 Nm at 5000 RPM (same torque was earlier produced at 4500 RPM), and the engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup comprises of telescopic forks up front and hydraulic shocks at the rear while braking performance is handled by the 130 mm drum brakes at the front and rear. The top-end variant comes equipped with a 240 mm disc brake at the front.
