Vespa India has launched the Vespa Elegante – the Limited Edition scooter at Rs 78,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This scooter gets the cosmetic updates like a new chrome grille, chrome guard kit and a front bumper guard, colour coordinated leather finish twin seats, limited edition ‘Elegante’ badge and a colour coordinated helmet.
The Vespa Elegante runs the same mechanicals as the VX. A three-valve 125cc engine which makes 10.06PS of power and 10.60Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a variomatic transmission. Vespa claims 60kmpl fuel efficiency from this engine.

Vespa is expected to launch atleast one or two such limited edition models every year.
