Chinese two-wheeler giant QJ Motor has officially unveiled its latest sportbike, the SRK 800 RR, in Europe. This fully-faired, high-performance machine is positioned above the SRK 600RR in QJ Motor’s lineup and is designed to offer a more powerful and premium experience.

QJ Motor’s Evolution in the Motorcycle Industry

QJ Motor first entered the motorcycle market in 2005 after acquiring the renowned Italian brand Benelli. Using Benelli’s expertise, QJ Motor developed the SRK 600RR, a sportbike based on the Benelli TNT 600 platform, which debuted in 2020. However, the newly launched SRK 800 RR stands apart with a 778cc inline four-cylinder engine developed specifically for this model, producing an impressive 101bhp.

Premium Hardware and Design

The SRK 800 RR comes with a high-end hardware package, reflecting its premium positioning. The bike is built around a steel trellis frame, paired with 17-inch wheels, and equipped with adjustable Marzocchi USD forks and a monoshock for optimal handling. It also features an aluminium swingarm and a top-of-the-line Brembo braking system, with four-piston radial calipers ensuring excellent stopping power.

In terms of design, the SRK 800 RR draws inspiration from Ducati’s Panigale series, featuring a large and angular dual-pod headlamp setup. The aerodynamic winglets attached to the fairing add to its aggressive look, while the upswept, stubby tail gives it a sleek, sporty finish.

QJ Motor’s Presence in India

Currently, QJ Motor offers four motorcycles in India: the SRK 400, SRC 250, SRV 300, and SRC 500. While the SRK 800 RR is an exciting addition to the global lineup, there are no immediate plans to expand the brand’s offerings in the Indian market.

QJ Motor continues to make strides in the motorcycle industry, and the SRK 800 RR further cements its presence as a serious player in the high-performance sportbike segment.
