Images circulating online reveal that the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has recently been subjected to crash tests conducted by Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). While the official results from these tests have yet to be released, the anticipation is growing.

Two variants of the Grand Vitara were tested, likely representing both top-spec and mid-spec versions, with wheel designs hinting at the differences. The car underwent the standard frontal impact test and a side impact test, with the results expected to be officially announced in the coming weeks.

For those unfamiliar, the Maruti Grand Vitara comes with an array of standard safety features, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist (HSA), height-adjustable seat belts, reverse parking sensors, a speed alert system, a seat belt reminder system, and Isofix child seat anchorages. The higher variants are equipped with additional safety features such as front side and curtain airbags, a 360-degree camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and more.

These comprehensive safety features are designed to provide enhanced protection and confidence to the occupants, making the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara a strong contender in the market for safety-conscious buyers. The forthcoming BNCAP test results will further illuminate the vehicle’s safety performance and potentially boost its appeal.
