The Mahindra XUV400 has proudly secured a full five-star rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (BNCAP) safety tests. This test was conducted alongside Mahindra’s 3XO and the newly released five-door Thar Roxx, both of which achieved similar high scores.

Currently, the Mahindra XUV400 stands as the only fully electric model offered by the automaker. In these tests, two variants of the SUV were evaluated, each equipped with essential safety features like dual airbags, a seat belt pre-tensioner, load limiter, seat belt reminder, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

In terms of results, the Mahindra XUV400 scored an impressive 30.38 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection and 43 out of 49 for child occupant protection. These scores highlight the vehicle’s strong and adequate safety performance in impact protection, reaffirming its commitment to passenger safety.
