Mahindra is set to make a significant entry into the modern electric vehicle market with the launch of its flagship models, the XEV 9e and the BE 6e. Both vehicles are scheduled for their international unveiling on November 26, under two newly established sub-brands: XEV and BE.
These all-electric models will utilize the advanced INGLO platform, which Mahindra claims will enhance safety standards while delivering impressive performance and greater efficiency.
In terms of market positioning, the BE 6e will be positioned above the XUV400, directly competing with popular models such as the Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming MG Windsor EV. On the other hand, the XEV 9e will face competition from the soon-to-be-released Tata Harrier EV, marking a competitive expansion in Mahindra’s electric vehicle lineup.
