Mahindra KUV100 Launched In India At Rs. 4.42 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Pune)

Mahindra has launched its latest addition car to its line-up, the KUV100 in India at Rs. 4.42 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). The starting price of the Petrol variant of this car is Rs. 4.42 lakhs while for the Diesel variant it is Rs. 5.22 lakhs, ex-showroom, Pune. KUV stands for Kool Utility Vehicle and it is mainly focused at the Young buyers.

Both the engine variant KUV100s come in four variants – K2, K4, K6 and K8. ABS with EBD is offered as standard on all its trims while the dual airbags is offered in Mahindra’s Safety Pack.

The Petrol KUV100 gets an mFALCON G80 1.2L, all-aluminium petrol engine which produces 82 BHP @ 5500 rpm and max. torque of 115 Nm @ 3500-3600 rpm. This engine returns an ARAI certified mileage of 18.15 km/l. This Petrol engine also marks the Mahindra’s entry into the Petrol engine space.

The Diesel KUV100 gets an mFALCON D75 1.2L, turbocharged diesel engine which produces 77 BHP @ 3750 rpm and max. torque of 190 Nm @ 1750-2250 rpm. This engine returns an ARAI certified mileage of 25.32 km/l and these numbers make it the India’s most fuel efficient SUV. The diesel KUV100 also gets Power and ECO driving modes.

The K2 and K2+ variants (Petrol & Diesel) –

Body-coloured bumpers, rear spoiler, power steering with tilt function, manual AC with heater, front arm rest, gearshift indicator, ABS with EBD, engine immobiliser, steel wheels and Seating – six-seater only.

The K4 and K4+ variants (Petrol & Diesel) –

K2 and K2+ features plus Body coloured door handles and wing flaps, wheel-arch cladding, mud flaps and wheel caps, foldable rear seat, power windows and central locking.

The K6 and K6+ variants (Petrol & Diesel) –

K4 and K4+ features plus Chrome inserts on front grille, blackened B-pillar, roof rails and roof-mounted antenna, door-side cladding, piano black trim on center console, driver’s adjustable seat height, rear arm rest, key-less entry, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, cooled glovebox, follow-me-home headlamps with front door puddle lamps, infotainment system with four speakers and two tweeters, Power and ECO driving modes.

The K8 variant (Petrol & Diesel) –

K6 and K6+ features plus Front fog lamps with chrome inserts, puddle lamps for all doors, silver accents on rear door handles, 12-spoke spider alloy wheels, micro hybrid feature and DRLs.
