After parting ways with Honda, Indian two wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has been constantly looking out for ways to add new products to its portfolio. The company gave a big surprise to many people by showcasing the HX250R, Hastur 620cc and the ZIR, a 150cc scooter at the Auto Expo in Delhi earlier this year.

Now, the company has showcased the new HX250R, Hastur 620cc and ZIR 150cc scooter in a TV commercial with a theme called “ZIDD” which means being adamant about achieving its target of growth and success. The advertisement showcases what the company plans to do in terms of new motorcycles and new types of engines that run on alternative fuel.

Hero MotoCorp has taken efforts to make a better advertisement which is different from rest other TV commercials. The advertisement also features the recently launched motorcycles, the Karizma ZMR and the Xtreme.

First, you are shown a racer riding a ZMR and then the Xtreme comes into an action, where the road is closed and the Xtreme is ridden off the pavement with making new paths appear. Then the ideas of an engineer and a designer are shown after which the new HX250R, Hastur 620cc and the ZIR 150cc scooter are teased.

The HX250R is powered by a 250cc single-cylinder four-stroke fuel-injected engine that gives out 31PS of power and has a kerb weight of 139 kgs. The HX250R also comes with an optional ABS. This gives the Hero MotoCorp’s HX250R an upper hand over its closest rival, the Honda CBR250R.

The Hastur on the other hand is powered by a liquid cooled 620cc parallel twin with a patented CSI cylinder head that churns out 80 PS of power and has a kerb weight of 159.7 kgs. The Hastur does a 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds while the top speed is said to be near 240 kmph. Once launched, the Hastur is likely to face competition from KTM’s 690 Duke and Kawasaki’s ER-6n.

Hero ZIR is powered by 157.1cc Liquid Cooled, 4-Stroke 2 Valves OHC engine that produces the maximum power of 10.5 kW and torque of 12.7 Nm. It’s forced Dynamic Cooling Air System maintains an apt temperature of the liquid coolant during long high speed rides. The top speed of ZIR is 110 kmph.

Now let’s talk about the person (the rider and stunter) in the helmets who gave the riding and stunting scenes for this commercial. That guy is Hrishikesh Shrikant Mandke, who lives in Pune (Maharashtra) and is the India’s First Official Superbike Stunt Rider. He possess goal directed tendency as jointly determined by his motives and actions. Making the impossible into possible is his own style while strength, determination, challenges and confidence always counts his success.
