The Hyundai Alcazar is set for a facelift, and although its official launch is scheduled for September 9th, the Korean automaker has already unveiled the design of the refreshed three-row SUV. Let’s dive into the key exterior changes that set this new version apart.

A Fresh Face

The facelifted Alcazar distinguishes itself more clearly from its sibling, the Creta, with a new and distinct front fascia. The most notable update is the introduction of H-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) positioned above the main headlamp clusters, giving the SUV a modern and bold appearance. The grille has been redesigned, now featuring the 3D Hyundai logo prominently displayed above it. The bumper has also received a subtle refresh, with a wider silver-finished skid plate enhancing the vehicle’s rugged look.

Updated Wheels and Roof Rails

Although the overall silhouette of the 2024 Alcazar remains familiar, Hyundai has made some tweaks to the side profile. The facelifted model now rides on newly designed 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, with 17-inch wheels available for the lower variants. Additionally, the roof rails have been updated with a dual-tone design, adding a touch of sophistication to the SUV’s profile.

Redesigned Tail Lights

At the rear, the Alcazar features all-new tail light units with a vertically stacked, split design. These tail lights draw significant inspiration from Hyundai’s Palisade, a popular SUV in global markets. The new design enhances the SUV’s rear aesthetics, making it look more premium and aligned with Hyundai’s latest design language.

LED Light Bars

In line with current automotive trends, the updated Alcazar is equipped with LED light bars both at the front and rear. The front LED light bar is positioned above the grille, adding a sleek, modern touch to the SUV’s face. At the rear, the LED light bar is situated between the new tail lights, just above the number plate recess on the tailgate, further enhancing the vehicle’s visual appeal.

With these updates, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is poised to offer a refreshed and more distinct presence on the road, setting itself apart from its predecessor while staying true to the brand’s evolving design philosophy.
