DSK Benelli has launched the fully-faired 302R in India at a price tag of Rs. 3.48 lakhs, ex-showroom, pan India.
The 302R gets a compelling design and looks more of a sports-tourer. It boasts an in-line two-cylinder, DOHC engine which has been derived from its naked sibling, the TNT300. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and produces 38.26 BHP of power at 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm.
The 302R is built on a trestle frame which is different from the TNT300’s trellis frame. It also gets a centrally mounted monoshock instead of the lateral rear monoshock. The front is equipped with the same 41mm upside-down forks as the TNT300. Its kerb weight is of 198kg. It also gets LED DRLs and a stylish twin-pod exhaust which sounds really sweet.
The Benelli 302R comes with ABS as standard and is offered in three color choices of White Rosso, Red Nero and Silver Verde which are all dual-tone colors. It also comes with a 4-year unlimited km warranty.
